WHO WE ARE

The National Transformational Leadership Institute (NTLI) at the University of Juba is a semi-autonomous institution established in 2015. As a centre of excellence in East Africa, the institute offers skills on transformational, conflict management and peacebuilding, gender based violence and economic empowerment to emerging and existing women and men leaders from all sectors of the South Sudan society. These include including political leaders, corporate, civil society, faith based and the academia, to be able to contribute to inclusive and sustainable social economic and political development policies and programmes.

Our Mission

NTLI’s mission is to provide access to innovative and creative programmes through

  • Developing result-bound transformational leadership competencies
  • Training and capacity building; networking and interaction
  • Policy research, analysis and advisory services, Information generation and dissemination.

Our vision

NTLI’s vision is to serve as a center of excellence and knowledge hub for training, mentoring and experiential learning programmes so as to facilitate accelerated, equitable and sustainable progress in development.
